Since September we have a new owner and head chef at Stenebygrytan, Fabien Jaque.
A little short about Fabien:
Frenchman with 30 years experience in the restaurant industry, trained chef and pastry chef in France.
I have 2 children, Simon & Saga and a partner Ann-louise which is why I ended up here in Dalsland!

Great passion for dessert and chocolate as well as food that is organic and locally produced with a French twist.
My vision with Restaurang Stenebygrytan is to continue to run the tavern on to the standards and standards that you would expect from a modern tavern.
Here I include environmental and climate thinking and despite our focus on game, I want to broaden the range of vegan and vegetarian options.

At Dalslands activities There is a very well-repated restaurant, Stenebygrytan, which with locally produced game meat and inspiration from the forest and Lakes Pantry, offers different taste sensations for all ages.

Also called "Kjell's hearty Stew" because the original recipe is inspired by the owner Kjell Johansson.

Want a challenge? 600g Pure Elk meat with 4 different sauces. Note! (If you eat everything within an hour we offer you the burger!)

Served with a wonderful cognacflamberad pepper sauce that beats most things.

Examples of these are: Entrecôte with red wine sauce and garlic butter, char fillet with lobster sauce. Please note, however, that it is different every day that varies due to seasons and seasons.
