Horseback riding
1 hour trek
A wonderful experience for both the beginner and the experienced rider.
Our hour long treks are often longer in effective riding time. This short trek is well suited for beginners but you will still have the opportunity to try all horse gaits.
One hour outdoor ride from 500 sek p.p.

For those who want to try some more action.
Our 2 hours treks are a bit more varied and often contain a lot of galloping and is therefore best suited for those with a bit of experience or just plain courage.

A moment in the forest for both soul and experience lust.
Now we’re getting closer to real riding, straight into the forest, over mountains and through valleys! We have plenty of trails for trying longer galloping, but there is also time for coffee and snacks by a nice creek.

Experience Dalsland on horseback.
During the full day trek the effective riding time will be approximately 5-6 hours and some additional time for lunch and perhaps a swim for those who wish. A wonderful trek that brings out the best of the province of Dalsland.

Grann Tour
Two days on horseback in a wonderful nature.
The neighbouring tour, which is a 2-day ride, runs around the lake Grann in Dalsland. The lake is located on hilly terrain with hints of pure wilderness. The lake has a clean water and a rich animal life.
You’ll ride the trails and roads and pass by many historic sites. You ride in Western saddle and get to experience the wonderful Dalsland nature up close.
Since 1994 we have arranged the Grann tour and it has become one of our most popular rides.

Program Grann Tour
Day 1
We gather at dalslands activities Kl. 09.00. A presentation of our horses, stables and equipment. At 11 o’clock we sit in the saddle on the way to Vägne.
All your personal equipment for overnight stays is transported by car to the campsite. What you need for today’s ride you bring with you in the saddle bag. (E.g. swimwear, rainwear)
When we have passed the farm Stora Havden we will enter the Dalsland forests. After about 2 hours we come down to the lake Grann where we usually stop for a bath or a coffee.
Now we continue further and pass the northern end of the lake and ride west. Now the ride goes on an old gravel road and we pass many nice cottages.
It will be lunch when we find a good place The lunch ends with coffee and bun
Back in the saddle, now we ride south and we usually arrive to our campsite about 18 o’clock. Now it is necessary to take care of the horses, desadling, water, fodder, searching and discharge in the pasture. When everything is ready, we gather at the patch where the luggage is in place, as well as tonight’s 2 course
Barbecue dinner.
Light beer or water is included, stronger beverage can be ordered or taken with. We gather around the campfire sitting on reindeer skins and when fatigue comes we crawl down into the sleeping bag
Day 2
Good morning! Breakfast for riders and horses. We pack our equipment and saddles. Ca Kl. 10 am we usually sit in the saddle and now we ride eastwards on the old road towards Norebyn. We stop for a coffee.
After about 12 a.m. We will descend to the southern end of the lake and ride on the east side again with the direction of Steneby. We pass Falkholts guesthouse and have about 1.5 hrs left until we are back in the stables.
The ride is expected to be completed about 14.00-15.00, then we are back at the stables where your baggage, which is collected, is in place. The party concludes with a lunch at the restaurant
Stenebygrytan.
The tourcan be ordered with your own company (my 4 people) or by entering one of the departures.

A two-day ride in the beautiful landscape of Dalsland, also known as “a Sweden in miniature”! We have picked out the finest and most delicious pieces in a memorable ride through Dalsland with nice accommodation in hotels.

Collection with a simpler breakfast and we complete the horses.
10.30-11.00 We ride away for a full day out . incl Lunch and refreshments.
Please bring your swimwear if the weather permits.
16.00-16.30 We are back at the stables.
17.00 You take the car a short ride (about 15 mins) to Baldersnäs Manor where you check into the wings (double room) with beautiful views of the park and Laxsjön.
